Have you recently taken your laptop back to the high street retailer you purchased it from, only to be told that your particular fault isn’t covered and that your warranty is virtually useless? That it would cost £230 + for their ‘Any Laptop Repair’ charge? or been told your laptop is not worth fixing and you’d be better off buying a new one? This is an all too familiar story, one that we hear on a daily basis. In our experience, many laptop problems can be fixed for less than £100, with some repairs costing less than £50!

While we can’t help you with your warranty issues, we do provide a complete laptop repair service with free collection/delivery anywhere within Northern Ireland, for a fixed charge of just £49 +parts for ANY laptop repair! Collection is usually within 24 hours and repair time is normally 3-5 working days, some faults can be repaired onsite.
What happens if we can’t fix it?
If for any reason we cannot repair your machine, or repair is not cost effective, we will only charge £25 for diagnosis. We also buy laptops for parts and may pay up to £75 for your broken laptop.

> Laptop Dc Power Jack / Socket Repairs – a common problem with laptops, this type of repair can only be carried out in the workshop as the solution requires a full disassembly of the laptop. The standard price for this type of repair is £49 plus parts, and we offer a free collection and delivery service within Northern Ireland.
> Laptop Power Supply Problems – Laptop Chargers/Power supplies are not normally cost effective to repair, but we can supply a replacement power supply for most laptops/netbooks for £29 including delivery within 1-3 days.
> Slow Windows Vista Problems / Vista Takes 30+ Minutes To Startup! – This is a common problem and we provide a range of low cost solutions to solve these Windows Vista issues. If it takes your pc or laptop more than ONE minute to load, it would benefit from a memory upgrade and a simple tune-up.
> Constant / Obtrusive System Popups and Warnings Etc. – A quick fix for this and many other common problems is included in our Pc/Laptop tune-up service, one of our mobile engineers will come to your home or business and carry out the work.
> Virus, Spyware and Adware Removal. – Many of these issues can be fixed onsite, but it can be a time consuming task, so if we think its going to take several hours to fix the problem, we will offer you the fixed price workshop repair option. This option will limit the labour charge to a maximum of £49 and there are normally no parts required for this type of repair.
> Wireless Network Setup / Repairs / Add Computer To Existing Network Etc. – We provide a full wireless network installation service and can also repair your wireless network if you’re experiencing problems. We can also add a new computer or laptop to your existing wireless network. Please refer to the price list page to see a general list of prices for these services.
> Laptop and Desktop Computer Boot Problems / Pc Won’t Boot Etc. – Problems of this type normally require diagnosis and can be time consuming, our fixed price workshop repair option will take the worry out of large repair bills.
> Email Account Setup and Repair / Outlook Express or Windows Mail Problems. – Having problems setting up your email? Or can’t send or receive email, we can solve these issues for you. Please refer to the price list page to see a general list of prices for these services.
> Broadband Setup / Internet Problems / No Internet or Intermittant Service. – Please refer to the price list page to see a general list of prices for these services.
> Laptop Upgrades – More Memory. – Everyone knows that Vista needs plenty of memory to run properly, so if your laptop has just 512mb ram or 1gb ram, you can expect to see a decent speed boost with load times and general responsiveness in your laptop if you upgrade to 2gb, 3gb, or 4gb of memory. Memory is currently cheap and it offers the best bang for buck when it comes to upgrades. Laptop hard drive upgrades are available up to 500gb for a 5400rpm 2.5″ sata drive, and 320gb for a 7200rpm 2.5″ sata drive, upgrades are also available for laptops with 2.5″ ide (pata) hard drives, but are limited to 160gb or 250gb 5400rpm drives. > Desktop Pc Upgrades – More Memory, Better Graphics, Extra Storage Etc. – You would be amazed at the difference a few upgrades can make to a desktop pc, you can get larger/faster memory, a faster processor, or maybe a powerful graphics card, most PC users seriously underestimate the power of even a low spec graphics card, most are content with the poor onboard graphics on their bog standard desktop machine came with. A graphics card does much more than offer high quality images and smooth video playback, it’s most important function in my humble opinion is that it takes a serious load off the CPU and makes the whole computer faster and more responsive, especially if you’re running resource hungry vista and want to see it in aero mode. How about a second hard drive to store all your pictures, videos and music files, you can never have enough storage space, and its a fairly simple job to have an extra hard drive fitted, the most common options are 160gb, 250gb, 500gb and 1TB (1024gb!). > Windows Upgrades, Downgrades & New Installs - Help is available for Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows Xp, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
> Printer Setup – Need help to set up your new printer?, Having software or driver issues? or maybe you just need a cartridge changed? We can help with many printer issues, but we do not normally replace integrated hardware components within the printer.
We are aware that many households and businesses have several computers / laptops. We normally offer up to 50% discount on workshop repair labour charges for additional work to other computers/laptops you own, provided the work is carried out at the same time.
